THE FLORIDA AQUARIUM

Only about an hour away from T&Z's Waterside, the famous Siesta Key Beach is where you can feel the quartz-crystal powdery sand between your toes, and experience the soft waves and the abundance of sun & fun at gorgeous Siesta Beach. ANNA MARIA ISLAND
Laid-back and natural, Anna Maria Island awaits – about 45 mins away from T&Z's Waterside. A 7-mile strip of beautiful white-sand beaches lines the barrier island of Anna Maria Island between the turquoise Gulf of Mexico and peninsular Florida. When on the island, take the free trolley that runs the length of the Island to Bradenton Beach, passing through Holmes Beach which sits in the center of this peaceful island. The mainland can be reached via two bridges which extend from the eastern shore towards Bradenton. The southern tip reaches out across the intra-coastal towards Longboat Key and Sarasota.
